Nature : Shipwrecking Hansen For 25 Years

“Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods.”

– Albert Einstein

I just noticed this from 1988. In June, Hansen said that 1988 would “break all records” without an “improbable cooling

As soon as Hansen opened his mouth,”remarkable cooling” occurred – and made him eat his words in December.

It is called “La Nina” Jim, and there is nothing unusual about it.

    What a turkey !!

Hansen’s litany of failed predictions obviously influenced the official IPCC mantra – no predictions on a timescale that can be refuted by anyone alive at the time the prediction is made !!!

They seem to have a bit of trouble enforcing that though !

1988 was the last major corn crop failure, so we have gone 24 years without one. That, plus lack of hurricanes could lead one to believe that additional CO2 has significantly improved the climate. But you never would hear the LSM saying that.

I’m struck by how a full 16 years before AIT, and two years before the the first IPCC assessment report, and less than a decade after the “ice age” media scare, this newspaper from 1988 proclaims the “greenhouse effect – a warming trend linked to the atmospheric buildup of industrial emissions” as if this were a point of fact.

Wow, the same garbage…about 30 years ago.

Lol, yes, Hansen has been a moron for over 25 years.

It was the “Unusual” Currents in the Pacific that cooled the entire planet that year. It was not Big Jim’s fault the ” Unusual” currents cooled off the globe.
WTF! Normal shifts in ocean atmospheric weather patterns that happen regionally almost every year and result in prognostications of annual climate to fail.
    Unusual My rear end!

“Oh but you’re just cherry picking at the data!” Screeched the warmistas.
“Yep! That cherry sir, was fat and ripe, and ready for the picking”, came the reply.
