Problems At NCDC?

Looks like someone was messing with their temperature database, and made some major boo-boos. People need to be more careful when tampering with climatic data.

It also turns out that March, 1951 averaged almost 100 degrees in California!

They just don’t care. They have the MSM under control. The data doesn’t matter for warmism.

This just shows what a bunch of %&*?!¬s there are at NCDC.
At one time, not so long ago, Government agencies, administrations, and centers were responsible for the facts and figures they put out to the public. Now, such errors get broadcast to the world and no-one cares.
A world where everyone has rites and no-one is responsible.

Where do you think the phrase: Close Enough For Government Work originated?
This is business as usual but it is becoming more exposed these days.

Maybe that’s why I didn’t last long in government work, (at a foreign out-station) when I got some system unreliability down from +/- 1 decimal places to +/- 1/100. I got a call from a “Washington shiny pants” one day, he was annoyed because a database had to be rebuilt because of what I’d done to the figures – he ‘had’ to let me know!
What had I done? Implemented a station-wide maintenance regime and, with the local personnel behind it, the station was THE most reliable and cost effective every year!
That government station was closed about 4 years later due to ‘cost cutting’, I lost my job – other less reliable stations stayed.
