Heartland Protester Lacking Historical Perspective

“I’m willing to risk my arrest, because if Heartland Institute gets its way, it could be the end of civilization as we know it,” stated Alice Coffey an activist who risked arrest at today’s event.

Alice is just not keeping up. Civilization ended decades ago. Two previous generations of drugged out losers already finished it off.

“Civilization will end within 15 or 30 years unless immediate action is taken against problems facing mankind.”

• George Wald, Harvard Biologist 1970

It is interesting how the alarmists operate. Instead of showing up for their invitation  to debate, they send hippies to try to shout people down.

If there was any actual science behind what Hansen, Mann et al are doing, they would be eager to debate.

Don’t arrest them, just hose them down.

    From the link:

“Anyone who can deny climate change has never been to Texas where there is
an historic record drought caused by the climate crisis, or Arizona,
where we no longer have monsoon season, but haboob season – just wind, and
dirt and heat, but no rain,” said Ian Fecke-Stoudt, who also participated
    in the climate confrontation.

These people are mentally impaired – I see they are out of Hood Oregon. Well I am from Phoenix AZ and the weather this spring has been just excellent. I am growing tomatoes, pumpkin, squash, sunflowers, wildflowers, am nursing a wild palo verde sprout that is now about 4 feet tall, (1.2 meters for those metric). As far as dust storms, monsoons, and all, we got a great “photo op” dust storm last year but I’ll tell you it was nothing. Much bigger and badder storms in 1995 and 1996 that I can remember.

One, it must have been 1996, I saw it coming in from the east at rush hour – I was stopped at a red light in the left-hand turn lane in a Ford truck facing directly into it. You could watch it come in like a huge dark brown wall; and I’m thinking to myself, “will I make the light or will it hit me before I make the turn?” That thing was moving. It hit me before I could make the turn. It was a combination of dust and rain – raining horizontal mud! If anything, the monsoons have backed off a bit but so what? To everything there is a season…

I’m looking out my window. Did I mention the nice weather?

“Civilization will end within 15 or 30 years..”

Notice how these idiots are so unsure of their demented prognostications they can’t give an exact date? Sounds like climate science to me. Then again, if climate religion had been rigorously followed through decades ago, we’d all be completely f*cked as predicted by the very ideals these morons aspire to.

Methinks we should send dear old George a note, reminding him of his deluded rant and ask him how he’s going with that.. 🙂

George Wald died in 1997, a few years short of his 30 years.

I wonder what AZ Ian Fecke-Stoudt lives in? He’s apparently drinking too much Kool-Aid.

Here are the monsoon records for Phoenix going back to 1896.
