A Reminder Of How Incredibly Clueless Our Global Warming Friends Are

A few days ago they were hysterical about Colorado burning, and proclaimed that the worst fire season on record was just getting started.

The National Interagency Fire Center now reports that there are no large fires in Colorado, and that the number of fires in the US has been the lowest for the date since 2003.

I’m sure the MSM will put this at the top of the list…not to report….

Well, now that the monsoon has kicked in, Colorado is having an unusually wet July, and the fires are out, the media have forgotten Our Fair State faster than a Bill Clinton one-night stand.

That’s why this charade is so long-lived, & may never go away completely: Extreme weather events have happened for billions of years, & will happen for billions of years into the future. A guarantee of eternal ‘proof’ for a lie, means even lies can be eternal. Especially when the lie is ‘supported’ by both extremes–hot and cold, drought and flood, fire & hurricane….

Religion has known this for centuries. Positive events: ‘God has blessed us.’ Bad, destructive events: ‘The Lord works in mysterious ways. It’s God’s will.’

While 2012 has had the lowest number of fires since 2003, note that 2012 ranks 4 out of the 10 years of data listed in terms of number of acres burned. While the AGW groups likes to report only the pieces of information that support their cause, I think climate realists need to be more responsible and report the facts.
