More brainless dribble from the vacuous universe of Twitter…

  2. Andy says:

Our wet summer was due to the Azores high being shifted south due to the jet stream which was also the reason for the hot weather in the USA.

I have never seen my lawn look so green, and there is a mass of slugs and snails. Even the trees by the motorways are more verdant.

It still took them ages to take the hose pipe ban off though……

    Idiots

These biosphere impacts (greener-er lawns, snail and slug population extremes) are exactly the sort of apocalyptic predictions made by the 20th century’s greatest scientists Ehrlich, Holdren, Schneider, Carson, etc. It is happening exactly as they predicted, only much faster, in areas where they predicted the opposite effects, and much slower via in-the-pipeline effects.

      Dead…Certain…Predictions….

Must be an error in measuring.
Hotter, drier summers & milder, wetter winters!

She must be desperate, twittering about the UK summer. No-one else is interested in it.

  6. Ray says:

In England & Wales, it is also quite likely that Summer 2012 was not as wet as 1879 and 1830, as well as 1912, according to the MO longer HadUKP series.
Actually the trend in summer rainfall in E&W is declining and was at it’s peak in the early 19th century.

  7. Ray says:

I should have said “the long-term trend” is declining in the above comment.
