Obama’s science advisor John Holdren says that an ice-free Arctic would never refreeze.
I know that is true because down here at the 40th parallel in Colorado, when the lakes thaw out every year, they never freeze up again. Same goes for the Hudson Bay, Kara Sea, etc.
Once water thaws, it can never freeze again. This is based on the same principal as lightning not being able to strike the same place twice.
He’s the master of atmospheric science and must know all things.
Correlating stratwarm and the physics involved with boundary conditions are well understood aren’t they!
The mechanisms in play such as, argon/hydrogen mixes are well understood at 1000hPa, 800hPa, 500hPa, 200hPa right up to 10hPa height are well understood aren’t they!
Mixing C02 with the other constituents at all levels, pressures and temperatures are well known, aren’t they!
We also know an earthquake never strikes twice in the same spot, don’t we.

I like new records!
This is out of Tim Flannery’s book; once there is a drought, the rivers and reservoirs will never fill again.
“Professor Stewart Franks, from Newcastle University, writing in The Australian, twists the knife:
TIM Flannery, Australia’s Chief Climate Commissioner, once declared that “even the rain that falls will not fill up the dams”.
This was back in 2007 at the height of the protracted drought that afflicted eastern Australia. Now, for the second year in a row, we see the effects of El Nino’s twin sister — La Nina — bringing extreme rainfall across great swaths of Australia. This is hardly the climate change future envisaged by Flannery.”

Tim Flannery’s book has been torn apart by Dr Wes Allen in his book “The Weather Makers Reexamined – http://theclimatescepticsparty.blogspot.com.au/2011/05/weather-makers-re-examined.html

In the category of things that will never happen again in the same place we have been given : snow, ice, lightning, rain, and now perhaps we can look to earthquakes stopping bugging us. If it were true, it would be very good news. but alas, the sources of these statements seem to be unreliable.
Pretty soon we’ll be natural disaster free!
Steven,
Its true. All the water that froze last year sinks to the bottom. Virgin water moves to the top and freezes. We are running out of virgin, never-frozen water thanks to AGW.
