A broken clock is completely consistent. It always reads the same value, and is exactly correct twice a day.
According to Arctic rent seeking logic. we should trust broken clocks over functional ones.

Clock is still ticking
I wonder why they don’t use the same logic when they are trying to find the trend in world temperature they are constantly making adjustments to past readings perhaps they should just go on measuring temperature in the same old way.

Again, pissing contest.
Can’t stop the arctic ice from melting if it’s going to melt.
the problem is, that Steven keeps claiming that the ice is getting thicker and thicker.
his claims and the facts are contradicting each other.
No, the problem is that you care.
As I undertand it, the extent of Steven’s claim right now is that NOAA is showing that we have not yet seen a record minimum in extent this year.
Perhaps it is your claim about Steven that is a ‘little bit’ unrealistic?
RTF
many of us have relied on a clock, which was consistently 5 minutes early.
much better than one, which is sometimes early, sometimes late.
but this concept seems to go over your head..
Since a broken clock is correct twice a day it seems we would be better off with broken clocks than recommendations from the Global Warming Industry.
