Rabett Run: The Arctic Ice Pack Gives Marc Morano the Finger

Amazing the stuff that these people obsess about. That region of ice is MYI covered with fresh snow. It isn’t a “chunk”, it is unlikely to melt, and if it did melt it would make the water cold so that it would quickly refreeze.

‘Eli’ is wierd. His opinion isn’t worth rabbit shit.

  2. Carbonicus says:

Whether it melts or breaks off doesn’t matter. The only question is whether or not humans burning fossil fuels is the reason. Sea level has been hundreds of feet higher and lower over earth’s 4.5 billion year history.

  3. u.k.(us) says:

FWIW, notice how healthy the ice is where it has an anchor point (land), to prevent winds and current from transporting it further south.
So, what is really happening, ice transport or Global Warming ?

  4. Shooter says:

Ice can’t give the “finger”, because it isn’t alive. How mature of Eli to use childish insults.

Lol, “something scary happened” – what is this, a kindergarten class?

  5. Shooter says:

“Now, I’m no sea ice expert” – Sure you are, son! I mean, you couldn’t ACTUALLY LOOK to see if the ice was melting!

  6. PaddikJ says:

Writers who habitually refer to themselves in the second person are pompous twits. “Eli” should get a clue.
