I saw that too. Made my head hurt. There it goes again…

  2. Amazing isn’t it. The ones you think might be among the smartest. Aren’t.

  3. It doesn’t surprise me at all, it fits the rough profile I have developed for him (and his like) in my own mind. The man is a male Judith Curry, committed to counselling all sides on the need for “reasonable, effective” governmental climate policy. And he is an academic (a modern-day priesthood, the members of which have all been brainwashed to consider, and project, themselves as competent experts — against all the evidence to the contrary). No doubt, he will vote for Obama, because Obama takes him seriously. I only hope President Romney won’t.

Harry, could not have said it better. Just when you think someone has their head on straight, you get fooled again. It’s pure groupthink, which liberals are masters of and they have to divide themselves into groups and place themselves into their identified group for a sense of security. Being an individual, stepping outside the safety of the group scares them. He wouldn’t risk being ostracized and must publicly state his position to make sure others know that he is a member in good standing.

We just hit a record for people on food stamps and a record for debt and who wouldn’t want a change in leadership, just based on performance? Of course, when your income in derived from govt., I suspect it’s based on job security with no consideration for the problems of the Nation.

harry, I agree with your assessment.

  5. kirkmyers says:

Obama is a criminal psychopath who has violated virtually every campaign promise he made. Romney is a serial flip-flopper and cogenital liar who, like Obama, is a banker puppet. Both candidates refuse to address the root causes of the current economic depression — a fiat monetary system controlled by the Federal Reserve, a private banking cartel.

Neither candidate has promised to end our senseless (and costly) wars and murderous drone attacks in the middle east and southwest Asia. Instead Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum threaten to launch new attacks against Syria and Iran — two countries that pose no threat this country.

So the voters are forced once again to choose between the lesser of two evils. But choosing a “lesser evil” (if, indeed, there is one) is still evil.

Sorry, but I find your comments as ill-conceived as Roger Pielke’s.
The great climate debate is about choosing reality (real science) over dogma (pseudo-science).
You and I both choose reality in that realm.
In the realm of politics, pragmatism is a key element of reality. One Presidential candidate clearly has more traditional values, while the other has a covert agenda of very non-traditional values. To not choose between the two is a deliberate act of fantasy – the opposite of reality. I do not admire putting “principles” above survival of the Country.

Obama looks at this country as a giant corporation that is too powerful and has stepped all over people to advance it’s cause and needs to be brought down a notch. We know he has referred to private industry as the “enemy camp.” How are you going to advance the economy when you think corportations and business are the enemy and can’t be trusted and needs to be hamstrung with senseless regulations that cost billions. At least, Romney has a sincere inward love and appreciation for the Nation as well as a keen business sense and is a true American. That, in itself, is enough to vote for him. Too many people won’t accept anything but their “perfect” candidate, but the “perfect” candidate this time is “anybody except Obama.”

Ya saw what one did, time for change, and if that doesn’t work, congress will have to be changed, They don’t seem to like that, as they are not on a term limit and like to keep their jobs.

      Americans fire losers.

As I said recently, thank god we still have senior because junior has becaome a rentseeker. He has found that fame and money come to those who espouse the AGW cause and he likes it.
