For centuries it was believed that the Emperor had no clothing, but new research indicates that this was based on the testimony of one small child, who had no background in textiles or even retail clothing sales. He also had no formal education in clothing and had never published anything about fashion in a peer reviewed journal.
Furthermore, it has been discovered that more than 97% of the experts at the time agreed that the emperor had clothing. We can therefor safely conclude that the emperor was well clothed, and that the child was not competent to discuss his wardrobe.
I like that . Makes me feel like a child again .
And the sky is falling! And a wolf be prowling. Hey, let’s kill the goose to get the gold inside.
Common sense used to be the birthright of school bound children. Now they are told to revere an upside down urinal that is worth twenty million dollars since it has graffiti on it.
Very clever!
It’s depressing how much junk science is routinely published these days in the social sciences and related fields (climate science being a famous example). Complex mathematical techniques applied to dubious assumptions and poor quality or garbage data. (Sigh).
Steve – I see you too are prejudiced against naked people.
On the plus side you have no chance getting a plum job at MSNBC in any of your next six lifetimes.
I don’t care what you say. That emperor still has no clothes on. Look at the picture, man!
