Hey look another natural contributor to the Earth’s climate that scientists just found out about and aren’t part of climate models.

‘Wind-borne dust linked to rapid climate change’

Dust plumes that fertilise the ocean with iron, enhancing a biological process that sucks carbon from the atmosphere, are closely linked to rapid climate change in the past, according to new research.

    • Glacierman says:

Did you say “rapid climate change in the past”?

All the enlightened ones know that never occurred before the invention of the SUV and America’s fossil fuel orgy! Must be misinformation planted by the Koch brothers.

  2. philjourdan says:

Guess they were talking about a Napoleonic retreat.

  3. Mohatdebos says:

What surprises me is that these journalists do not go back and ask the so-called experts why their dire prophecies are failing. You would think with all the climate, and snow and ice experts residing in Boulder, they could find someone to comment on this year’s cold and snow records.

  4. Jimbo says:

Not long ago they were telling us about early springs for the UK due to global warming.

  5. Sparks says:

It’s been a late spring here in Northern Ireland, There was still snow on the mourn mountains at the end of April and about 20-30ft of snow during mid April killing 10’s of thousands of sheep and cattle because of terrible meteorological advice coming out of the MET Office. In Ireland farmers are having the worst fodder crisis in living memory, We even had “thunder snow” which is an extremely rare event and it was the first time I had ever witnessed it. amazing to watch.

Anyway, spring is here now, weather forecasters seem to be confident that it will get warmer as summer approaches. Is there any such a thing as a reverse genius?
