According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event”. “Children just aren’t going to know what snow is,” he said.
Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past – Environment – The Independent
Five of the six snowiest winters have occurred since then.
Interesting post. Experts will have to look for better ways to explain global warming else they will become irrelevant soon.
They will have to admit that weather and climate has been following it normal patterns! There is no reason to explain the warming that is only seen in their computer runs. We have seen regional weather variability but that has been going on for millions of years.
Don’t you get it Daniel? They say that more snow is also a sign of global warming.
First here is the media take on it from George Monbiot. (steer clear from drinks near your mouth)
*(Having previously blamed the lack of snow on global warming and having told us not to confuse the weather with climate). 😉
Now here is the the paper which says to expect more cold and snow with global warming
*(Having previously told us to expect less snow and cold). 🙁
Hahaha… That’s why I don’t like using the word ‘global warming’. I think ‘climate change’ is a better way to represent the variability in weather pattern. Climate change has both natural and human factors. In as much as we can’t stop the natural factors, we should do what we can to reduce anthropogenic climate change but not to the extend of killing the economy.
Daniel Adesina, 2013/6/8:
“[W]e should do what we can to reduce anthropogenic climate change but not to the extend of killing the economy.”
Daniel Adesina, at his blog, 2013/5/25:
” I believe it’s important to curb this outrageous population growth in other to make significant impact on climate change. [. . .] If the world’s population is reduced or the growth is curtailed, then there will be less need for mass production which will at the end force industries to be efficient in their production line.” [My emphasis]

That sounds familiar. I totally agree with u. Cheers
That’s odd, because I sure don’t agree with you. I will say a prayer for the Lord to open your eyes and ears that you can know what exactly is the meaning of what you are writing.
