What Is The “Right Amount Of Ammo?”

Obama says he does skeet shooting all the time.

If a group of people were “doing skeet shooting” with the president for four hours, and averaged one shot every thirty seconds, that would be almost 500 shells, or 1,000 shells per weekend. No doubt the president understands this, because he is such an enthusiast.

DHS recently tried to purchase 1.6 billion rounds of ammo – five times the population of the US.

About 3,000 rounds of every caliber you possess would be a good starting place. That would probably set you up for target practice.

I keep about 700-1000 rounds of 12 ga just for practice. I refuse to divulge the details of my entire stockpile (cough-reloader), but let’s just say I follow the Boy Scout motto. 😉
