I think if Steve wants to be critical of Obama, this is the worst part of his track record. The Paul Krugman’s of this world seem to have this strange blind spot in their thinking. They believe the market will tolerate more stimulus but will be unspooked by the consequences of that stimulus. (The fact that it somehow has to be paid back in some form.)
