  1. terrence says:

Well, so WHAT – Saint Obama DESERVES to be president, and president for LIFE – if he wants to be.

  2. They need to explain why, if they have identified some name as that of a dead person, they can’t immediately delete it from the voter rolls–the devil with “conflicting federal laws”. I’m sick of the incompetence in government at all levels.

  3. gator69 says:

Is that ‘dead’ dead, or just brain dead? Must be ‘dead’ dead, as there are certainly more than 1.8 milion registered democrats in Ohio.

Romney was robbed, and we are paying the price.

  4. Bruce says:

Preventing zombies from voting is discrimination against the dead. On the other hand space aliens have their own political party here in Australia, but not zombies. I should complain to our Electoral Commission.

    • Luke of the D says:

Amen brother. Amen. All this bigotry is sickening. Let the dead vote! Hay-hay-ho-ho – this penis party has to go! Hay-hay-ho-ho – this penis party has to go! Wait…wait… that’s PCU, excuse me.

  5. Donna Cohen says:

If you steal an election, as Al Frankenstein did to Norm Coleman, the thief must step down immediately. If this does not become law, all is lost. It’s only common sense.

  6. Donna Cohen says:

I of course meant Al Frankenstein. Then again, it reminds me of Frankenstein. It is totally artificial .

  7. Kyle Towers says:

The big “tell” here is the amount of political blather, even political blather sans any science angle. It tends to make your real problems with the science rather obvious.

    Signed,
    A true conservative

    • Global warming is 100% politics and 0% science.

    • Luke of the D says:

So, Mr. Towers… you have a problem with reality? Truth maybe? Tell us Kyle… exactly how much has it warmed here in the last 16 years? How far is the Arctic ice off from the normal again? How about that pesky Antarctic ice? How about recent hurricanes making landfall? Tornado counts? You sir, are no conservative.

      • Kyle Towers says:

I can tell you this, wingnut – All 10 of the 10 warmest years in the last 130+ have been since 1998. Antarctic ice thickness has increased inland because of GW caused increased precipitation but warmer water in the circumpolar current are eroding the ice shelfs faster for a net loss of volume. Arctic ice annual minimum area is waaaay down but the volume of Arctic ice is down even more because the thicker multi-year ice is disappearing fast. If you watch the polar satellite time lapse of the last few decades, you can see not only the area, you can see the thick ice disappear. (It’s the opaque ice) Hurricanes and tornadoes? Who gives a rip; it sure doesn’t prove global warming a hoax.

Yes, a-hole, I am a conservative. The difference between you and me is that you choose to believe any argument that supports your side regardless of its validity. That’s the negative part of conservatism – it attracts those with an authoritarian mindset who tend towards tribal black and white thinking. I choose to believe arguments that are supported by the evidence.

        • Brian G Valentine says:

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is what happens when people refuse to take their psych meds

        • Kyle says:

I state verifiable facts. Wingnut knows it, so flings poo instead of acknowledging those facts at all.

          I accept your concession.

        • gator69 says:

“All 10 of the 10 warmest years in the last 130+ have been since 1998.”

Wrong, 1934 was the warmest year on record.

:Antarctic ice thickness has increased inland because of GW caused increased precipitation but warmer water in the circumpolar current are eroding the ice shelfs faster for a net loss of volume. Arctic ice annual minimum area is waaaay down but the volume of Arctic ice is down even more because the thicker multi-year ice is disappearing fast. Stop hyperventilating. Ice melts, and always has.

“Hurricanes and tornadoes? Who gives a rip; it sure doesn’t prove global warming a hoax.”

          WTF?

“Yes, a-hole, I am a conservative. The difference between you and me is that you choose to believe any argument that supports your side regardless of its validity. How is it that a ‘conservative’ would buy into a wild assertion like AGW, and how would a ‘conservative’ be fooled by leftist Trojan Horses? A ‘conservative’ would realize that Ockham’s Razor is still very real and that climates have always changed.

          “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence”.

Where is the extraordinary evidence that man made CO2 is driving climate change? We assert that climate change is natural, as it has been for billions of years. We make no wild asertions about controling the planet’s climate.

Now who is conservative, and who is a wing nut? 😆

okee dokee…you can’t get a trend in this short of a time frame…and with that small of a temp change

Look at any paleo temp reconstruction….

    • NoMoreGore says:

A TRUE conservative already knows the carbon scam was a political ploy from the beginning. You can’t become one by claiming allegiance.

      • Kyle Towers says:

No, wingnut, true conservatives deal with reality, not live in a fantasy world if they think reality threatens their ideology.

        • terrence says:

Kylie Pooh Towers – you wing nut A-hole – you may actually be STUPID enough to think you are a conservative. But you live in such a STUPID fantasy world that reality threatens your ideology and your blind, unthinking, knee-jerk, brain-dead religious “faith”

        • Brian G Valentine says:

Conservatives hate communism, not imitate them.

    • You know, your soi disant pretense to being “a true conservative” is somewhat hampered by your involvement with the ThinkProgress website. Not to mention your own commentary.

But the “problems with the science” are evident even in the thousands (literally) of past posts on this site as well as countless others. You later make the statement about “the ten warmest years,” but seem aware of the degree to which this has been taken apart here and on many other science-oriented sites. Once the temperature adjustments have been reduced to those reasonable and justifiable, the claim disappears. We appeared to have several years similar to those of the 1930s/1940s — and seem to be on a path into the cold period (now erased) of the 1970s.

Just watching how inconvenient temperature movements have been airbrushed out of existence has been illuminating. That this airbrushing has caused the promoters to completely change their stories does not seem to faze them.

But here is a key “tell,” as you put it: When outright fraud is demonstrated, and admitted (in the case of Peter Gleick for example), the climate catastrophist community rallies ’round to defend, protect, reward, and award them. If these people are willing to openly embrace known fraudsters, doesn’t that make you even slightly curious as to what is going on that you aren’t able to see?

Others have seen it. The evidence is large: CO2 is a factor in the Earth’s air temperature, but it is simply one of several and not evidently the dominant player in recent millennia, including now.
