Meteorological summer starts in two weeks in the Southern Hemisphere, and the Antarctic meltdown is just getting started. Windchill at Vostok forecast at -97F this week.

Now we will soon be told the cooling in the SH is due to cooling in the NH, which will be because of AGW and as night follows day, this too will be reversed and day will follow night.
It’s all gone a bit post normal…………………………. .

Antarctica would be melting down, except that it is really cold there. It is cold there because of the ozone hole, which is also our fault. So it is our fault that Antarctica is not melting down.
Either way, it is our fault.
Antarctica lead the globe during the recovery from the last glacial maximum and I would suspect that increased glaciation would first occur in the Southern Hemisphere.
A few years ago the models provided a scenario that showed the polar regions would be the most affected by the Global Warming.
(Models do not predict of forecast! Only Models based on scientific principles do forecasting and predictions)
That Scenario was “Corrected” when observations did not fit modeled. A while later peer reviewed research came out to show that with the “Correct” Tweaking Antarctic is warming and the ice is really melting. That paper is still floating around on the garbage heap of Climatology papers that have been falsified but not retracted! The so called warm anomalies we see being reported now are the residual warmth from the system arriving at the polar regions.
The positive ENSO of 1998 probably reached the Arctic in 2007.
Hmm, I think I know where you’re going there Mike:>)))
