The Polar Amplifier Has Blown A Woofer

Polar Amplification is the most fundamental precept of global warming, yet temperatures at the South Pole (fastest warming place on Earth) have been far below normal.

And temperatures at the North Pole (fastest warming place on Earth) are also running cold, after the coldest summer on record.

Global warming theory has a terminal cancer, and it is time for a second opinion from some new doctors.

don’t worry, by next year hansen will have fixed it.

Steve, define ‘far below normal’ and why you were not saying this around day 290?

In fact, even a cursory glance at your graph seems to show more red above the green line this year than below, let alone ‘far below’.

far below normal referred to the pretty colors on the Antarctic Continent. But of course you can read and knew that. Right?
With the blue line representing freezing in the Arctic and the summer running coldest on record , which is the statement Steven made, He did not say which record, that is not important right now,the blue line shows the temperatures in the Arctic running cold.
At least compared to locations on the Equator that would be considered cold. Even at my house it would be considered cold. Maybe in your Igloo what is being experienced in the Arctic is warm and compared to the temperatures in Antarctica it is warm.
You are picking Cherries and Kumquats and attempting to compare them.

I try never to, but that is not an answer to my question. Your pretty colours have no Legend, shouldn’t a skeptic notice this and be – well … Skeptical? So define ‘far below normal’?

And are you denying that the second graph shows that this years temps (red) are above the long term average (green)?
