Is the old media infatuated with cankles or is it just some kind of lib prerequisite that their women politicians have cankles? Or both?

As well as the increased demand for beds this winter Kaitaia Salvation Army has experienced a higher demand for food parcels as power bills begin to weigh down on Northland families.
“People have come in looking for food because they have spent their money on the power bill,” said Kathy Elkington, Salvation Army Director of Community Ministries in Whangarei.

Gillard and the ALP are gonna get flogged in the September election.
The Australian Carbon Tax will be repealed and consigned to the bin containing stupid ideas. If the US passes a Carbon Tax, you are just making the carbon credit industry extremely wealthy and the watermelon lobbyists more powerful. And poor people get poorer.

  5. Argiris Diamantis says:

It is even worse than most of you thought: Gillard is dumped by her own Socialist Party now, just three months ahead of the elections, that they will loose anyway.

    • Andy Oz says:

Carbon taxes are hypertoxic in politics. People see their power bills go up and up and they want to blame someone. In Oz they are blaming Gillard and the ALP collapsing with less than 30% of the primary vote. That’s political Armageddon. If/when Obama brings one in, people will blame the Democrats and sack them from Congress. The tide has turned. And the ice is returning!!!

  6. Leo Morgan says:

Gillard was ousted today. 3 years and several tens of billions of dollars too late.
