The Usual Obama Non Sequitur

Note the complete disconnect in the logic :

A top Obama administration official says there is “very little doubt” the Syrian government last week used a chemical weapon on civilians, killing at least 100 people.

The announcement came as the Syrian government appeared close to allowing United Nations inspectors to visit the site of the reported attack Wednesday on the outskirts of Damascus.

A U.N. spokesperson said Sunday an inspection team is preparing to conduct an on-site fact-finding mission Monday and that Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has instructed the team to make ascertaining the facts “its highest priority.”

The administration official said Sunday that the U.S. intelligence community made the assessment about likely chemical use based on “the reported number of victims, reported symptoms of those who were killed or injured and witness accounts.

They presented no evidence of Syrian government involvement. It is the same logic Obama uses to blame bad weather on CO2 – i.e. no logic at all.

Same as the Boston Massacre blamed on white supremacists. If it was Bashad al-Assad he would have to be crazy, knowing the rest of the world was just waiting for an incident like this to use against him. Without evidence I’d have to say a 50:50 probability that this may be a false flag operation by the euphemistically-named opposition.

I agree with Steve, but the puppet masters would be pulling the same strings if the Republicans had won the White House. It is that little country to the SW of Syria, whose powerful AIPAC lobby persuades our USA politicians to squander American blood and treasure in the Mideast.

i’m thinking it wasn’t even a mil-spec chemical agent, but rather some other compound.

had it been even “non-persistent” nerve agent, i.e. the “G” family, the “rescuers” would have taken casualties from the toxin, as they all linger for up to several days before they breakdown.

just as a swag: i’m thinking someone turned loose a large amount of an insecticide, which would be lethal, but not linger, and which would result in the same signs & symptoms as a war agent, and they counted on the MFM being too stupid to know the difference.

De ja vu: Last time chemical weapons were allegedly being used by Assad the Assad forces were gaining ground. Heard earlier this week the Assad forces were gaining ground…

We already went through this with Bush justifying the invasion of Iraq, the “credible witness”, the uranium shipments, Tony Blair and his “dossier”.

Way back in Sarajevo time, the Bosnian Muslems shelled their own people in a marketplace and blamed it on the Christians, who NATO then proceeded to cleanse from Bosnia. (Now admitted to by NATO).

These guys are quite capable of these murderous propaganda tricks; I’d not rush to repeat that sorry affair.
