The oceans of the world have risen nearly seven inches since 1870, and over the last decade the pace of rise has doubled over earlier years.

I see this repeated over and over again. But there is no basis for it. Even the improperly calibrated satellite altimetry data shows sea level rise slowing down over the last five years.
So why doesn’t the climate science community rush to correct the misinformation? It is almost as if they have a stake in climate alarmism.
First: It has always been obvious they have a stake in alarmism. Climatology was founded on alarmism practiced by the founding fathers of the field.
The use of claiming OCEANS of the world while leaving out which oceans or the word some is acceptable in Climatology. There are regions that experienced faster sea level rise than others and a doubling could have occurred along some coast line after the latest shift in ocean atmosphere pattern.
While the claims may be true if interpreted “Properly” They are guilty of lies by omission.
Not being anointed or self proclaimed climatologists we are not familiar with the “Esoteric” meaning of the proclamation!
The name of their blog says it all: “This can’t be happening” ………….because it isn’t.
“almost as if the have a stake”
“the” should be “they”

Some of us do not read the words but the meaning of what is being said!
It is a sign of little imagination to only be able to spell a word one way! 😉
“News reporting is not a matter of discovering and publishing facts. Rather it is a process of gathering accounts from a very limited number of approved sources, and stitching them together to provide a defensible narrative. Any relationship with actual events, much less the truth, is entirely coincidental – and usually accidental”.
Once you uderstand that everything falls into place.
