UAH Channel 5 temperatures have dropped below 2009, for the first time this year.
Over the last three weeks, temperatures have been dropping at a rate of 745ΒΊC per century. I detected a “change point” on August 16 (using very sophisticated analysis) and we all know that climate is linear – after many years of AGW training.

It’s becoming obvious that 2010 won’t be warmer than 1998.
Was wondering when this was going to happen.
yeah…should be fun for the next few months to watch temperatures drop precipitously eh? seems that Joe Bastardi (among others of course) was right on track with his predictions. the nino 3.4 has dropped and now the temperatures are following….

If this decline continues, then Joe Bastardi was (by is own admition) was a month too early in predicting the start of the decline. That’s simply not good enough, he should have been spot on π
Seriously, Joes predictions the last couple of years have been very, very accurate and reading Joe, Piers Corburn and Farmers Almanac gives a very good indication the the future weather that normally comes to pass.
I can’t wait to watch the CAGW believers scramble to try and keep 2010 warmer than 1998, from my perspective it’s not going to happen. Here in Minnesota we went from short sleeve weather to sweater weather over night. It was like walking through a door on September 1st and waving goodbye to summer.
Same in Nova Scotia, Canada A clear, hot summer ….. hey, isn’t it supposed to be cold without clouds? September has been cloudy with cool temperatures, especially the nights. Hold it! I thought the clouds are supposed to make it warmer? But its always warm in the winter when its cloudy, and bitterly cold when it is clear. Well I give up! π
for the first time in 20 years I had to switch from AC to heating in one week, before it was two weeks π
With La Nina there’s should be plenty of Arctic air not only for Canada but for the Northern 1/2 of the United States—Saskatchewan Screamers:

The Olympics would have done better in Vancouver this winter instead of last.
