Arctic Oscillation Headed Back Towards Record Low Territory

This winter is looking bleak. We have the triple whammy of a low AO, low SSTs and below normal Arctic temperatures.

Will there be enough fossil fuel generating capacity this winter? How many people will die as a result of the global warming scam?

One of the facts the LSU Professor used to argue against the sceptic position was the extra 55,000 deaths in 2004 and 2010 due to global warming. The fact the young sceptics should have returned with was something like this:-

Where in England and Wales alone, an extra 20,000 to 25,000 people die, in the mildest of winters. In harsher winters, such as 1999/2000, an extra 45,000 people die. Year in, year out. A mild winter saves 20,000 lives. Multiply that across the planet.

I was rather pleased with myself for predicting this UK cold wave to my sister over a week ago because of the AO trend.

Hopefully, only those that spent their heating monies on carbon credits.

It is an evolutionary process, after all.

Maybe should have read, “How many more people will die as a result of the global warming scam?”

In about 6 years time here in the UK we will be forced to start shutting large swathes of coal + nuclear generating capacity, largely by EU environmental diktat. There are no plans to replace most of this before then.

Christopher Booker has been warning us for years about this and yet our politicians have refused to face upto the problem somehow expecting wind and other renewables to miraculously solve the problem.

In a few years time we may have serious power shortages and if we get winters as cold as last year thousands more will die.

Many meteorologists (a couple that I know) are saying this winter won’t be that bad in much of the eastern US due to LaNina. The present weather pattern is very active. I’m not so sure they are going to be right.

same here on the west coast. we’ve have not come out of a progressive pattern since last winter…except for about 4-5 weeks in july-august. now that’s a short summer, especially for california.

I wonder how many alarmist scientists/politicians will be held accountable for increased cold weather deaths due to their stance against coal energy/heat ? Anyone ? Mr. Hansen ? Mr. Gore ? Thought not.
