Climate Scientists Discover A Myriad Of Catastrophies Right Before Cancun

Completely unrelated to politics and the requirements of future funding, people calling themselves climate scientists have made all kinds of amazing discoveries in the past two weeks showing that the world is heating up out of control even faster than they thought previously, and that their measurements have erred on the low side.

Turns out that the past needs to be adjusted downwards again. It might actually have been an ice age during the 1930s.

You used the wrong image! We are not witnessing a Three Ring Circus! We are witnessing all the circuses in the world run amok and all the Carnival Mid Way Hawkers yelling for our attention to see the magical wonders they have to display in their freak shows.

  2. It might actually have been an ice age during the 1930s.

In global warming ice ages cause dust bowls.

  3. Sundance says:

Climate scientists have evidently borrowed a tactic from the legal profession to become climate “ambulance chasers”.

  4. PhilJourdan says:

    Women and Children disproportionately affected.

    • Belinda says:

Seriously, it is not a great idea to try and start a battle of the sexes and children over climate change. Ok we see were they are going with this “Win over the women and children routine and the men will fall into line”. But if these libtards think that women are going to fall for this half baked moronic bs, they really have very little respect for women in the first place. Pseudo-scientists turning women and children into enviro pawns is a big turn off for any woman.

“The studies, published to coincide with annual U.N. climate talks in Mexico starting on Monday”

AGW = Alarmists Gone Wild!!! In Cancun – HOT HOT HOT!!!

  7. Stavros says:

I’d love to be a timeshare salesperson In Cancun right now. Those folks will buy anything.

  8. Justa Joe says:

I happened to hear an NPR “report” on CanCun by some lucky gal ‘reporter’ given that plum assignment. NPR included expert opinion by an ‘unbiased’ agent of climatefund.com. The reporter made the completely unqualified statement that Mexico is a leader in alternate energy in the developing world while failing to mention that Mexico is among the world’s top oil producing, exporting, and consuming countries. In general the report’s tone of America bashing was subtle yet exquisite.

  9. It’s a “we’re gonna bake, sizzle or drown” extravaganza!!

    • Mike Davis says:

In a location with an average temperature 20c above that of that experienced in most of Europe!
Yeah! It is a wag but probably within 5C!

  10. Mike says:

    @Glenn,

The studies can be found here

They are well worth reading. Many are free.

The Science Daily headline is a bit misleading. 4C warming is quite likely to happen. It is not a worst case scenario. 4C by the 2060’s is a worst case, but 4C by 2100 is very likely. The research papers study the likely impacts of 4C of warming. I also doubt the journal publication date was deliberately set to coincide with any particular event. The papers were presented at a conference held last year.

    • Mike Davis says:

      Mike:
This has happened just before every IPCC get together. You should look to the differences between 45 north and 35 north to see what will happen with a 4C warming and it probably would not be that extreme of a change. The greatest change would be milder weather due to less difference in temperature. Sort of like having spring or fall weather than winter weather.
The claims of more extreme are BS.

  11. Vince says:

Wow, the alarmists sure love being miserable, don’t they? I wouldn’t have a problem with it if they weren’t busy trying to share it with everyone else. They can keep their misery all to themselves. I really wouldn’t mind one bit.
