I was just talking to my oldest son and asked him who he was voting for in the Senate race. He said “I’m not voting for Buck. He wants to end student loans.” The same story I heard from his brother last week.
I asked him where he heard that. He said “Everyone knows that. It is all over YouTube.” He was talking about the fraudulent campaign ad put out by the Bennet campaign.
Bennet also claimed that Buck “proposed the largest tax increase in history.”
Seems to me that Bennet should be investigated for fraud, not sent back to Washington. His dishonest campaign may keep Inhofe out of the Senate EPW chairmanship.
Always fact check information and where it comes from.
As long as people don’t get this simple rule and live by it, they will never have the government they deserve.
My B/S alarm bells go off whenever I hear:
Everyone knows something is true.
Everyone does something; you should too.
Hurry, do this and I’ll do something for you.
etc., etc., etc. …
Remember, TANSTAAFL. (For the young, innocent, and gullible, the means: There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch).
And for the young college grad, keep this in mind. Not only are you paying off student loans, but you’re also paying for social security, medicare, medicade, and now all the bills that will be coming due for all the free health care we got from hopey changey dopey.
Whoops – it’s medicaid. No matter how it’s spelled … it costs.
Oh, and the other little thing the college grads will be paying for – unfunded pensions for all those government pencil pushing slugs – towns & cities, states, & federal (excluding police, fire, & military, who risk their lives). By the time all the bills come due for all these freebies, I’ll be checking out cemetary plots.
Half truths are one the oldest tools in the political toolbox. ChrisD knows how to use that tool.
OT,

…..65% of Likely U.S. Voters say if they had the option next week, they would vote to get rid of the entire Congress and start all over again. Only 20% would opt to keep the entire Congress instead. Fifteen percent (15%) aren’t sure.
