Military says it was an airplane. And monkeys are going to fly out of my …..

They have no clue what it is, but they know for sure that it wasn’t a threat. Sounds like climate science logic.

    Just an observation 🙂

There is no mystery here. Obama is trying to sneak back in to US. It suppose to happen after dark, but they’ve forgot that on last weekend clock should be set back by one hour. 🙂

P.S. The funniest thing has happened when I’ve tried to run this post through spell check. The “ABC” does not recognise Obama and suggest “Osama” :-), 🙂

a commercial jet heading to San Francisco?

Saw this story and the ‘explanation’ from an expert that proves to me that experts are morons. As are the idiot journalists who repeated the looney tunes tale w/o any thought whatsoever. The idea was that the U.S. might have fired one of our missiles to impress Asia while the pretend POTUS was prancing around their backyards.

    Right.

Hell, you want to impress Asia then fire the damn thing from the Indian Ocean to land in either the eastern Pacific or western Atlantic; this way half of Asia will see the thing’s contrail as it takes off.

Maybe an advanced N Korean missile sub (or an old USSR hand-me-down) firing a dummy for show, while DOD’s trying to come up with a good story — while flying their j.shorts at ankle height.

It was an airplane – see here for the explanation.

The link Maguro put up does show the contrail getting a lot less after a while, something planes do but not rockets as far as I am aware. Also, it is too slow. Thirdly there is no point the US government launching an ICBM from a sub off the coast of California.

    Case closed.

    Andy

PS Although it would be nice to think it was a rocket aimed at Mars with Amino Acid on board 😀
