Hint, it has nothing to do with Chinese power plants.

  1. Mike Davis says:

Negative PDO along with a la nina and a cooling NAO. Most of the northern hemisphere weather patterns are in their cooling phase and the sun has experienced a long period of low solar activity. And the Glacial, Interglacial cycle is in the downward portion of the cycle

  2. Mike Davis says:

Is Al Gore doing a speaking tour?

  3. Anything is possible says:

The warmists already have it covered :

This from Dr. Jeff Masters at Weather Underground :

“The unusual negative NAO conditions may have been due, in part, to the unusually high Arctic sea ice loss the previous summer (3rd greatest on record.) The latest GFS forecast predicts that the NAO will go strongly negative for the remainder of November, resulting in a major cold blast for the Eastern U.S. and Western Europe”

    • So ice loss is a negative feedback and a positive feedback. Depending on which story is best at that moment for the global warming argument.

      • Mike Davis says:

I quit visiting that site a couple of years ago because of what he promotes. I tend to stay away from sites I Consider warmist and luke warm. I consider CA and WUWT neutral.

      • Mike Davis says:

        Steven:
Depending on conditions ICE can be either a positive or a negative feed back. They pour water over grapes during freezing conditions to keep them from freezing to bad and digging a snow cave can save your life in a blizzard. Snow and ice do act as an insulator.
Being positive or negative does not imply it is a driving factor in climate change just another form of restriction such as clouds or even dust. A tree can provide a positive or negative feedback as well.

  5. From the ice bag on President Obama’s lip.

Maybe if he would spend more time working and less time playing things like that wouldn’t happen.

No, no. We want him doing the things he does best and leave all that thinking stuff to someone else. In fact, I’d be perfectly happy if he just ‘mailed it in’ from here on out. As witnessed by the events at Copenhagen, he’s got some sort of reverse Midas touch. Everything he touches turns to sh*t. He might try to address something really important and then it’ll……………right, he’s already hosed our health-care system/insurance industry, economy, etc…..lol, my point is he should quit touching stuff!!!!

I thought it was the coal plants in China. I’m working on a theory, about how coal plants with a positive longitude induces negative temps, while, conversely, coal plants with a negative longitude induces positive temps. It’s all so very clear to me now!
