The graph below show the Rutgers snow extent, for all months since 1990 which had extent greater than 45 million km². As you can see, winter snow cover is spreading further south – as that is the only direction it can expand.
This is an indication of cooling, not warming. When snow falls in Florida, it happens because it is cold. Last winter had the greatest snow extent on record in North America.

Just wait till it gets really hot—the whole earth will be covered in snow. That is what you can expect from ‘global warming’.

It’s going to be interesting for the first part of 2011 to see if we end up with a repeat of last year.
I doubt it, remember, this is weather.(unless its hot)…
HOWEVER, it is interesting that the SHORT term, it is getting larger.
