The bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-politician says “with my celebrity power, and also my knowledge and experience,” he believes can make an impact. The Republican governor is especially interested in working on the country’s energy policy and would like to see leaders in both parties work together to reduce dependence on foreign oil, and rather than turn people off by “always talking about global warming.”
He adds that he can get attention because “people are very receptive when I talk about these things because I’m a Hummer driver … not a tree hugger.”
Maybe he can run his Hummers off wind power?
