It, obviously, is sucking all of the heat from the rest of the planet. This is known as the ‘inverted refrigerator paradox’ or maybe the compressor on the back …… or something.
Upper right of the image that looks orange, the far left part. The rest of the stuff in the gif image is apparently north western Europe. I’d love to stay and chat, but I’m looking for a lawyer’s number to sue my old geography instructors.
Is it record heat there? Jus wondrin. And, you know, as goes the weather in localized NE Canada so goes the climate of the world—something like that. I think that’s in the Bible, opps, I mean, the peer reviewed literature, somewhere.
Looking as some weather data, it looks like it is also going to get unusually cold in Korea and Japan the next few days with snow in places where it is rare.
It is not Global Cooling because North East Canada is part of the globe! So There!
It is Global Warming because North East Canada Can be used as a good Proxy for the rest of the GLOBE! SO THERE!
You just need to stop “Cherry Picking” 95% of the globe to prove your point!
I see you mentioned James Hansen earlier here today than the other time you mentioned him. I inadvertently gave you the “Bing!” prize for being the first to mention James Hansen today there when I should have awarded it here. So, I do it here again:
Bing! You win the prize for being the first to mention James Hansen today.
Laz, that’s a beautiful illustration of “what’s wrong with this picture”. Look at the bottom map. Look at the top. Look at NW Europe. Where did the cooling go? What about the western U.S.? There are other places to see, also.
This is typical of GISS. Understand that both maps represent the same thermometers. How do you reconcile such differentiation? Either one is true or the other is true, but looking at the maps, they both cannot be true. Look at the Antarctic, just SW of the Argentine tip. How does it go from “no data” to it is obviously cooling? That’s horse shit. It doesn’t happen that way. Suddenly the weather patterns reverse? Look at Norway. How does it go from -4.6 to 4 degrees cooling to no cooling?
These maps that you’ve shown and Steve has shown, you know he’s only using them to poke fun. They are of no value. They do not reconcile with each other. Yet, they use the very same thermometers to come to these very different conclusions.
If you are going to use them in a discussion, you should see them for what they are; useless painted pictures that only have value for derisive sarcastic humor. They both can’t be true, and neither are true because they came from the same source, the same data, the same people. Sadly, both you and I paid for them.
It’s a repeat from last winter when life stocks were decimated and thousands of small farmers lost everything they’ve got.
I’d like a report on NE Canada thanks Steve.
Andy

I’m sure Hansen can turn Alberta Blue to RED somehow…
Give him time. Its the holidays, so he’s a bit backlogged.

The latest data seems to suggest it is just Northern Europe;

nice steven that is one of my favorite lines.
i always use it when attempting to demonstrate that falsity of the perceived wisdom.
after all, we all know Caesar was killed because he was a tyrant. and he world is warming out of control.
and hansen, is an honest man!
Hansen Says It Is Just Northern Europe
Miami must be in Northern Europe now. Too bad.all those nice beaches are farther away.
