We have passed the summer solstice, and are starting the slide towards Antarctic winter. Temperatures this month in Vostok averaged a shocking minus 31C, with a high of minus 22C.
Meltdown is imminent and Manhattan will no doubt drown retroactively to match Hansen’s forecasts. The University of Texas claimed that GRACE data showed ice loss near Vostok.
Interesting weather pattern here.
The first part of Dec was very cold, -30 daytime, -50 nighttime (funny that, as this should be midnight sun territory). The rest of the month was much warmer, -10 to -30 over the typical day.
Not seeing much opportunity for melting either way.
Did note snow for a number of days, would think this adds to the ice unless there is some sublimation loss.
But 97% of climate experts have stated over and over in Government funded, peer reviewed studies that Antarctic ice is rapidly crumbling and as a result we are all going to drown! How dare you try to confuse people with the fact that it’s a mere 30C degrees too cold for the ice to melt!!!
GRACE should be considered a novel idea worth studying for possible future value. Instead it is being used to support the faithful, so I dedicate this to the CLB:

Happy New Year Steve!! My ribs
The warmest temperatures are usually in January. If you look at past January’s you will see that usually by the middle of the month the temperatures are falling, with 2009 being an exception where the 19th was the warmest day.
It takes time for the temperatures to increase and consequencely to decrease in winter. Lowest temperature is not usually in June. Places like Vostok that have no influence from water the effect is usually more noticeable.
