Milking The Alaska Story Since 1977

http://www.alaskadispatch.com/

Temperatures in Alaska haven’t increased since the PDO shift in 1977, and over the last four years are no warmer than the late 1950s. They had some big forest fires about six  years ago when it was still hot.

The period 1949 to 1975 was substantially colder than the period from 1977 to 2009, however since 1977 little additional warming has occurred in Alaska

The headline says “global warming”, then the first sentence relates to local climate. Oh, the irony of the “..primer for the climate impaired” inset. One who isn’t impaired would also know there hasn’t been any significant warming for over a decade.

This is a funny one too, next time 23 people on earth will die from the flu compared to 22 last year

“POPs” WTF, they say that Glaciers look after POPs, but don’t they want to drink the glacier water then? I guess they want a glacier that never moves. Are these guys so stupid they think they are static?

A paper on Greenland’s temperature record shows that the warmest year on record was 1941 while the warmest decades were the 1930s and 1940s.
