We will remember come election time.
Not surprising, everyone knew Upton was useless from the start. Putting him in charge of the Energy Committee was a preemptive surrender from the GOP.
The last republican to have balls was named Lincoln.
Pardon me, I should have said Eisenhower.
Reagan?
He was ok, I guess. I’m not so impressed.
Repubs better catch a damned clue! This is their last chance. If they can’t or won’t properly represent the people that put them there, then they will go away. The electorate is sick of people compromising on their platforms. Either, it is right and truth or wrong and a lie. There is no compromise on truth.
This is the same Fred Upton who championed the ban on incandescent light bulbs in an attempt to force us to light our homes with mercury bombs (CFLs). What did you expect?
It’s interesting how nothing can get done in Congress these days because the two parties are so divided. I wonder if this will pave the way for the creation of a new political party that will shove out one party or the other or both, even. American history is full of changes to the two-party system, and it seems like politics is being put into position to open the door for a new party.
If pro and con are opposites are progress and Congress opposites?
Sort of off topic, but it ties into our alarmist friends quest to become energy “independent”.

Thanks guys. I’m beginning to think they don’t care about CO2 or energy independence, they simply want to destroy Americas economic power. It sure seems like this is what they’re after. They pushed for electric cars and windmills only after they shut down the world’s largest REE mine, in Cali. One of their tools to get it shut down?………The EPA.
Why would anyone be surprised, given the lame Repub performance in the lame duck session?
