CO2 levels during the Dust Bowl were less than 310 ppm – far below Hansen’s safe level of 350 ppm. Now that CO2 levels have risen to almost 400 ppm, the climate is infinitely better than it was during the Dust Bowl.

Funny you say that, big locust plague in Australia, the last big one was 75 years ago, the time it was the same or warmer temperature then today http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/fears-locusts-will-invade-melbourne-as-swarms-reported-to-be-on-the-move/story-e6frf7kx-1225966025752
Considering the uptake ability of our oceans to absorb CO2, is there enough mineable coal to get to 1000 ppm? At some point Nuclear will displace coal as the cost of coal production increases. Someone smarter than me could probably put a graph together showing the price sensitivity of the price of coal to mineable reserves of coal and show where it crosses the cost of nuclear. The two curves will probably cross before we get to 1000 ppm. End of problem.
Wasn’t the Dust Bowl partly made by man and his poor farming practices?
“The phenomenon was caused by severe drought coupled with decades of extensive farming without crop rotation, fallow fields, cover crops or other techniques to prevent erosion. Deep plowing of the virgin topsoil of the Great Plains had displaced the natural grasses that normally kept the soil in place and trapped moisture even during periods of drought and high winds.”

It is a fallacy to pick past events and then shout – ‘Look look! Co2 was lower then.’
LAZ:
Does that explain major drought 5000 years ago when the globe started cooling off that lasted a few centuries. Those were found by studying the biology of the plains region.
There have been more severe weather events than any we have experienced before what we know as modern civilization came into existence.
The dust bowl was minor in comparison. The Sahara Desert was once a biological active region when the globe was warmer than today. A cold period came along and wiped out what biodiversity existed there and it has still not gotten warm enough to recover in that region. There were forests growing along the Arctic ocean that can not exist today due to cold conditions. There was a higher tree line by latitude and altitude in most regions of the globe than today because it was warmer then.
By The Way CO2 was lower then! According to your heroes! I am a sceptic about that claim!
“Does that explain major drought 5000 years ago”
Well I think we know with a high degree of certainty that it wasn’t caused by man or man made GHGs.
It might have had something to do with natural weather variations!
Very probably, I don’t think it was aliens.
