It is -30C in the Arctic. Where is the “Melting Arctic sea ice?”

That’s strange, they were just saying that water is warmer than ice, and the lack of ice would make the Arctic warmer.
Now they are saying that warmer air is going to leak down and make us colder.

Thank God for global warming, if there was ice up there, and all that air leaked down, just imagine how cold it would have been…….

    steven have you seen this

it appears niwa has redone their entire series

well i can’t read that article but the whole thing is preposterously illigical, and contrary to all historical evidence

but i am sure the public will buy it

Only the people who periodically see Elvis walking around someplace and communicate telepathically with Gaia.

They’ve pushed the edge with ordinary people, who have had it with the shit.

You missed a great seance this week during the eclipse! It was a perfect time talking to the King. Nostradamus even stopped by for a chat as well as Cayce. With everything it had to end before we got the answer to what is in store with the future climate because as you are probably aware all those self proclaimed prophets wanted to rewrite their prophecies to claim they were the ones who predicted what had happened.
We did Find Kevin’s and Jim’s missing heat. It is warming the poles on Mars and the moons of Jupiter.
Mother Earth said she misses you and hopes to see you at the next get together

    More Climate Alchemy, awesome.

IF they can do that, why don’t they corner the gold market?

If the Arctic ice continues to recover as it has over the last few years then they are wrong about everything, we should look at historical patterns not the results of computer simulations.Merry Christmas everyone.

The ever changing levels of Arctic ice cover has nothing to do with the AGW hypothesis.

Warmists get excited only because their main AGW hypothesis is failing. Thus they will hang onto anything that appears to be caused by something warm.

If it is snowing hard, global warming did it
If it is record cold, global warming did it
If it is 10 feet deep in snow, global warming did it.
If I sneeze, global warming did it.
If I laugh at stupid warmist claims, global warming did it.
If I….. ______________ ,global warming did it.

Their illogical thinking is on vivid display when they go crazy over natural periodic collapse of a small ice shelf section in Western Antarctica. The rest of the continent (the other 95%) gets ignored. Also not getting excited about the unavoidable fact that the SEA ice cover is at record high levels.

      I forgot,

Global Warming caused me to write this comment.

If the Arctic ice continues to recover as it has over the last few years then they are wrong about everything, ……..

If the sea ice recovers above last September they will blame global warming.

Andy Revkin made a comment in one of his recent posts on seeking a meaningful tax on carbon, where he wrote in response to unusual cold in some locations- “If you’re in Greenland right now, you’re (not quite) sweating.. ”

    My response-
Hmmm, interesting qualitative definition of temperature there, Andy.
    Summit, Greenland forecast-
Thursday high -45 F (or C, take your pick, either way its bloody cold).
    Low -63 F
    Friday- high -36 F
    etc.

Perhaps extending the scale might be helpful-
    Temp Description
    -60 F Cold, sweater suggested
    -50 F Coolish
-40 F Good for outdoor sports activities
    -30 F Not quite sweating
    -20 F Profuse sweating
-10 F Sea ice in peril
    0 F Glaciers receding
10 F World beach volleyball championships, Nuuk, Greenland
    20 F Unreasonably hot
    30 F Climate catastrophe
40 F Venusian runaway heating tipping point

    etc.
