Holdren : Skeptics Are Too Stupid To realize That It Is Actually Hot

It may be minus twenty-eight celsius here tomorrow morning, but John Holdren wants me to know that the world is heating up and that I am just too stupid to understand.

President Obama’s top science adviser said there’s a need to “educate” GOP climate change skeptics on Capitol Hill as the White House seeks to advance its green energy agenda.

“It is an education problem. I think we have to educate them,” said John Holdren, who heads the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, in an interview broadcast Sunday.

“Overwhelmingly likely” is right up there with the other global warming lingo “maybe, could, and might.

  3. Michael says:

Yeah. I’m freezing my buns off here too and snow, sleet, and freezing rain are expected for the rest of the week.
That’s my local weather. That’s not the global climate.

  4. Sundance says:

A new survey of priorities shows only 41% of Dems, 29% of Inds and 10% of Reps see climate change as their main concern. Overall it amounts to 26% compared o 87% that rated the economy as the most important issue followed by unemployment.

Let’s hope Holdren follows in Carol Browners footsteps soon.

I’m a really keen motorcyclist and I can’t tell you how bitterly(sic) disappointed I am to find out Global Warming is a crock of *%^!, we bikers hate the white stuff! Mind you, they keep telling me it’s warm so I guess it must be all in my head and who am I to question them, I’m not a climate scientist.

  8. PhilJourdan says:

I hate to be Tony Duncan but…..

Since he is talking about “educating”, he is saying we are ignorant, not stupid. But of course stupid people think that everyone needs a trip to the re-education camps.

  9. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

Just two years left of Obama world.

  10. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

It makes you shake your head that someone on the intellectual level John Holdren can become called “Top Science Adviser” by anyone.

    • Alan Simpson says:

I am disappoint. To put Holdren in the same sentence as the words, “intellectual”, “science” and “top” 😉 Oh the irony.
