the warming is so far manifesting itself more in winters which are less cold than in much hotter summers. According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become “a very rare and exciting event”.
“Children just aren’t going to know what snow is,” he said (Ten years ago)

Viner just proves a point.
Humans can convince themselves of anything.
I wonder if we will see the north sea around Europe freeze up this year looking at the sea temperatures in the graphs.I think all smokers should have to have to flu injections every year then they wouldn’t put so much pressure on the NHS at this time of year we should use less overkill in the treatment of cancer, the surges in people needing hospitable treatment that we see in the UK I think would be less if we had to pay for hospital treatment as in the USA and older people would be more likely to survive the winter.
We could be preparing for the return of colder weather in January and February by getting everyone ,at least taxis like myself, to fit winter tyres because the steep hills in Lincoln UK became impassible in the bad weather given the volume of traffic.
