Are carbon emissions increasing? It depends on the context. When alarmists try to justify Hansen’s failed predictions, they claim that CO2 emissions are slowing – i.e. scenario B.

But the rest of the time they tell the opposite story.
Hansen was wrong in 1988 and these CLB are wrong today!
Not only is CO2 expanding super-exponentially, it will soon be expanding super duper-exponentially! And you don’t care!!
lol, I like the contrived word……… super-exponentially……. that’s a keeper! Although, adding the “duper” is a nice touch.
It’s reassuring that these guys are “agnostic” on climate change. Otherise, CO2 would have been supercalifragilisticexpialidocious-exponentially increasing.
I love how “shleptical seance” tends to doctor its graphs to hide the decline. Even Real Climate in their January 2011 “Hansen Update” admitted that the 1988 projections were wrong.
It is Scenario A that we should really be judging Hansen`s predictions on, because that was the one that assumed we never halted the rise in man made CO2 emissions. He got CO2 levels wrong, CH4 levels wrong, and the rise in temperature wrong. This is pretty much a par for the course performance from the bloke.
Super exponentially eh? Well the effect of CO2 declines logarithmically, even the IPCC recognises that. So my poor ol’ arithmetic says if you take the log of an exponential expression you get a straight line. Unfortunately straight lines aren’t so scary, so no warmist ever mentions this.
Or that super exponential CO2 generation does not come from thin air, it comes from black stuff dug from under the ground. Of which there is clearly a super exponential supply. Coal, 100%, from just below our feet to the centre of the Earth, obviously. /sarc

His predictions are worse than we thought…
