Alberta Spending Millions On Washing Machines To Save The Polar Bears

I guess I won’t be moving to Canada. Is there a Nation not going global warming nuts? New Zealand? Brazil? Singapore? Vietnam? Ukraine? Anyone?
Read it again Amino. Alberta is reducing their AGW extortion payments by 95%, and they are following the federal government’s lead.
But its too late. The Alberta polar bear is already gone, and its our fault. 😉
Not only are Alberta polar bears already gone, but Canada is deporting a Pelican that wanted to be a stripper.
Pelican that lost its way back in U.S.

Interesting.
“Brown pelicans are rarely seen in Canada, but it’s not the first time one has ventured this far…”
They show up on the Pacific coast more often and last summer one showed up on Kootenay Lake in the southern BC interior. Never explained is that the brown pelican population has been growing recently – lest anyone spoil the ‘mass extinction’ story. The white pelican populations have grown even more.
Pretty useless as strippers though. They can’t work the pole.
I notice in that article that mention is made of Australia committing to a carbon price. This has been extrapolated to meaning that Canada will also need some sort of carbon pricing.
Bad news for them is that Australia’s carbon tax will never get off the ground. There will be a near revolution if it sees the light of day.
It’s been -40 in Alberta lately. If they were merely -35 instead they would be irreparably damaged.
-32.5C on march 1st… and still stupid cold.
the gov’t though is still pushing its Carbon Capture BS….Ranchers south west of Calgary are complaining that the land they own, will have CO2 pumped underneath by U of Calgary . Read that last week in our local paper. will see if i can find the link.
ya, here are a few links:
didn’t have the heart to read them, it just ‘pist’ me off to see a conservative gov’t giving it the rubber stamp…and U of C being politically correct.
The residents aren’t happy as you can read!
