I heard he’s doing more important things….
…like raising the wages of McDonald’s employees and organizing a union
The mis-named President of the USA is voting Not Present.
It’s nice to know that no one is watching the store.
Yes, I think it may be too late for the Libyans. The entire western world dawdled while Qaddafi slaughtered. The least we could have done was to tell them no help was coming. Instead, we talked about it. Obama, I’m not surprised. But really? In the entire western world there is no leader willing to make a definitive statement either way?
Bush got beat up pretty badly for getting rid of the scumbag in Iraq
True, but none had the personal fortitude to state that they were unwilling to help those people. Which, can be taken as reasonable. It can be viewed as only a Libyan affair and the world should stay out of it. Others may have a different view. But, I’m wondering how many lives did it cost for the political expedience of not making such a statement? How many Libyans held out hope that help would come? And how many paid the ultimate price holding such hope? How many more will?
What Obambi and the rest of the world leaders taught us today, ……..”Political expedience(and golfing) should always take precedence over the lives of people that won’t vote for you and the question of liberation vs. minding our own business.”
