  1. Latitude says:

a peaceful meeting of tribal elders…..

…..this sounds like the kid that killed 10 people

and his Mom says “he was a good boy”

    • The tribal elders are always at each others throat. If they meet together that is a very bad sign. Sure, they hate each other. But if you give them a common focal point of hate you have got trouble. The enemy of their enemy is their friend.

      from Arnaud de Borchgrave:

……a stunning document from Pakistan, claiming that Pakistani intelligence officers knew in advance of the 9/11 attacks……. the anonymous, well-connected Pakistani source, said……. “The imprints of every major act of international Islamist terrorism invariably passes through Pakistan, right from 9/11 — where virtually all the participants had trained, resided or met in, coordinated with, or received funding from or through Pakistan — to major acts of terrorism across South Asia and Southeast Asia, as well as major networks of terror that have been discovered in Europe.”…… the 9/11 Commission’s own report stated: “Pakistan was the nation that held the key to his (bin Laden’s) ability to use Afghanistan as a base.”…….

    • More from Arnaud de Borchgrave:

The heart of Islamist extremism lies in Pakistan. Almost all terrorist trails in Britain track back to Pakistan……. On May 11 and 13, 1998, India conducted five nuclear tests. Two weeks later, Pakistan responded with five nuclear explosions, triggering worldwide condemnation led by the United States…… Pakistanis deeply resent the double standard…… Washington’s sanctions against Pakistan for its secret nuclear program convinced Abdul Qadeer Khan, the father of Pakistan’s nuclear bomb, that America was now the enemy…… Iran is on the verge of nuclear success thanks to Mr. Khan….. Two years ago, in the nearby Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), the army sustained 1,400 killed and about 4,000 injured in operations against the Taliban. Yet the Taliban are still there, in safe havens in the mountains along the Afghan border….. Pakistan’s intelligentsia is baffled by a slew of think-tank suggestions flying out of Washington that tend to ignore history. Alexander the Great, the British Empire and the Soviet empire all lost tens of thousands trying to tame warrior tribes…… Pakistani author Ahmed Rashid (“Descent Into Chaos”) no longer writes about “creeping Talibanization”; “it’s galloping,” he says…..

    • More from Arnaud de Borchgrave:

He (i.e., Obama) tried to make it palatable to his left wing by saying Afghanistan is where al Qaeda — the monsters of Sept. 11, 2001 — were located. Actually, that’s where they are not located. They are in Pakistan’s tribal areas.

    • It is now clear Pakistan is no longer in the ranks of “major non-NATO allies,” where U.S. President George W. Bush had promoted the tragedy-plagued nation of 180 million Muslims. For some U.S. policymakers, Pakistan is a regional and global cancer and for others what the CIA called “Terror Center of the World.”

Britain, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Turkey, all traced some of their nationals to al-Qaida and Taliban training camps in FATA — particularly North Waziristan.

In its offensive against Taliban insurgents in FATA, the Pakistani army carefully avoided North Waziristan……

  2. Pakistan is likely the most volatile country in the world. President Obama wants to go all over Europe and Brazil apologizing for America, i.e., to places that are nonthreatening. Then he bombs Libya and Pakistan—unstable countries that already feel ill toward America. What a mess this man of peace, love, hope, and change is making.

    Obama is a war monger.

Are their any other women he can call on to give him more ideas? Cass Sunstein’s wife designed the Libya attack. He has Lisa Jackson in the EPA enforcing his carbon persecution. He bowed to the mayor of Tampa, Florida, a woman—what president has ever bowed to a mayor, female or male?? I’m not aware that he ever bowed to another mayor, just to one that is a woman. He even bowed to Nancy Pelosi……… yes, to Nancy Pelosi!

There’s something weird going on in this guys head. I think he is weak.
