    1974 seemed to be a year for extreme weather events..

    I remember those storms… but I’m a denier so clearly those storms never happened.

      Youre right, they never happened. The news accounts were placed there by BP and Koch industries to confuse the masses and provide talking points to deniers.

    Actually, I believe this one. I contend that a slightly cooler atmosphere will actually breed more tornado activity than warm, for the same reasons as changes in lapse rate.
