He is freezing his arse off on the ice to prove that it will be gone in 20 years.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

left foot, right foot? Are they on the move then?
From the looks of the photo the place will be a veritable haven for palm trees in just a few short years.
If it’s so warm up there, why isn’t he trekking around in his budgie smugglers? (look it up)
Does it look any different than the last time? Somehow, it doesn’t look like too much has changed. No palm trees, warm sunshine, golden beaches or native girls, even with liberal doses of magic mushrooms and LSD.
If there’s a scientific consensus and your mind is already made up about man made global warming, who would take your scientific study serious?
objectivity means absolutely nothing to these people!!
I have great admiration for Adrian McCallum & the team for enduring the severe conditions there and I wish them the best of luck and a safe journey, but if the Arctic is the metaphorical canary of man made global warming then it looks as tho the canary is doing well.
Let’s hope it’s not them doing a “canary” wrt the foolishness of a forever warming Arctic…
I like the Google ad that showed up in the screen capture: “Is Christ coming soon?” — seems that Google sensed the religious nature of global warming belief and displayed a related ad.
