At your latitude were does that evil sphere rise and set? Here at 44.6N it rises in the Southeast and sets in the Southwest. The green religion fruitcakes in my area disagree, they do not understand optical illusions. To them the sun rises in the East and sets in the West.
Between March 21 and September 19, the sun rises in the NE and sets in the NW. Same for all locations in the Northern Hemisphere -except right at the pole.
