The climate is changing. The earth is warming up, and there is now overwhelming scientific consensus that it is happening, and human-induced. With global warming on the increase and species and their habitats on the decrease, chances for ecosystems to adapt naturally are diminishing.
Many are agreed that climate change may be one of the greatest threats facing the planet. Recent years show increasing temperatures in various regions, and/or increasing extremities in weather patterns.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Total shite! There is no “increasing extremities in weather patterns.”
“Fluctuations in some climate parameters”

See also the “The Twentieth Century Reanalysis Project” which has found no trend in extreme weather events.
G. P. Compo et. al. DOI: 10.1002/qj.776
WSJ interview:
“Gilbert Compo, one of the researchers on the project, tells me from his office at the University of Colorado, Boulder. “So we were surprised that none of the three major indices of climate variability that we used show a trend of increased circulation going back to 1871.””
ACE hurricane index is at over a 33 year low.
Global mean temps have refused to budge for over 10 years now.
I reckon they’ve got a drawer full of these press releases going back 30 years. they wack one out every so often. What’s the date of that? It could be 1988, 1998 or 2008.
Warm we win, cold you lose. Only if the temperature is exactly normal everywhere can we ever be wrong!
Overwhelming scientific consensus… where exactly? I work with a bunch of scientists and there is indeed a consensus amongst them… and that is that nature does what it does and man is part of nature (everyone seems to forget that little details). Climate changes… it always has and it always will. And how is a consensus “overwhelming”? I’m not overwhelmed by an obvious fallacy and I don’t know anyone who is…
