Darwin missed that important detail.

Stephen Schneider: “Everyone is now talking about adaptation, but for all the talk there’s little actually being done.”
Maybe that’s because there is nothing to adapt to yet?

I adapted to that 1/2 degree 50 years ago…………
Maybe no one listened to Stephen Schneider

Seriously, how are we supposed to adapt? Buy a air-conditioner run by a windmill? I usually wear the proper clothing.
Cellphones with little handcranks on them would be a start. Electric cars with big hand cranks or Fred Flintstone pedal power is something else.
We would meet all energy saving objectives if all liberal democratic socialists (perhaps 20-25% of a given population) would simply practice what they preach and go Amish.
Then they can leave me the hell alone.
