UN Chief Hopes That Japan Will Continue To Live Without Electricity

I doubt global warming has crossed their minds. Amazing how priorities can change. That’s why AGW is at the bottom of the list of people’s concerns. They have much greater problems than to worry about the future weather. The environmental groups are nothing but a business that produces nothing but makes a great deal of money from guilt-ridden donors and govt grants. It’s no accident that some of the most outspoken advocates of AGW are wealthy and famous. Others are young and naive not yet in the real world. People with no real problems have the mental time to worry about future weather. Most people are busy making a living and having to pay for environmental busybodies that make their lives even harder. It’s all surreal.
It’s all about the money. They think we are fools. Hailing Al Gore!
It’s unbelievable that the UN would press Japan about anything at this time.
It’s past time for the U.N. to be de-funded.
Japan’s economy will be lucky if it doesn’t collapse under the weight of it’s current disasters and the past twenty years economic malaise.
We have seen that the Japanese authorities are under reporting the scale of the nuclear problem at Fukashima. We are also seeing that the Japanese authorities are not handling the main issue of the Earthquake and Tsunami victims in an first world organised way.
“We are also seeing that the Japanese authorities are not handling the main issue of the Earthquake and Tsunami victims in an first world organised way.”
Really? The earthquake disrupted the two main transport links from Tohoku to the south, the Tohoku Expressway (now open) and the Tohoku Shinkansen (expected to re-start in May). Unlike some other countries all public buildings (hospitals and schools) not directly effected by the tsunami remain servicable. None collapsed.
Unlike some other countries there has been no breakdown in social order. Unlike some other countries there are no tent cities; everyone has access to shelter. Unlike some other countries everyone has water, food, and there has been no outbreak of infectious disease.
For the most part, power, water and communications have been restored. I know this. I live in Tohoku.
These UN hacks need to see time in a mental institution.
Before the Cancun Climate conference started Ottmar Edenhoffer a senior official in the IPCC said “one must say clearly that we redistribute defacto the world`s wealth by climate policy. One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environment policy any more.” There you have it from the horses mouth the redistribution of the world`s wealth(mostly the bad west`s wealth!). The central doctrine of communism.
