I spent most of the afternoon with a friend who lived In La Jolla,, CA in the 1940s and married into a third generation La Jolla family. Her husband passed away six years ago, and she showed me a bunch of 19th century photographs. Sea level has not changed a bit in the last 150 years. I hope to scan and post them soon.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Amazing old picture! Your alarmist friends will come up with something, one’s at high tide, one’s at low tide, blah, blah, blah.
I took some recently at high tide, there is no change:

I’m looking forward to the pictures of the 100’s of yards of shore that have since disappeared beneath the anthropogenic sea level cataclysm of the 20th century.
There could be additional photographic evidence of global warming if bathing suits from 100 years ago are visible in the photos.
