Experts say it will take months to find the fingerprint of global warming in the storms this spring. Let’s do it in about 10 seconds.

Temperatures were unusually cold in the north and west, and warm and humid in the southeast. Where they collided there was a lot of violent weather. Anomalous cold is not caused by trapped heat.
No fingerprint found, case dismissed. Can I have the research money?
It looks like La Nina pattern.
See La Nina pattern in bottom half of image at link

In the image you can also see the dry in Texas that some are so worried about. It’s not worrying. It’s part of a normal La Nina pattern.
There had been warming waters just west of the Galapagos Islands. It is gone now.

What is the latest with La Nina? Is it fading away as predicted?
In the link to the animation in the previous comment you can see cool water coming up from south of the Galapagos Islands and creeping back into equatorial waters. But I don’t have any idea if it is going to continue or not.
The Holy Grail, the fountain of youth, the philosopher’s stone, the perpetual motion machine, the 200 mpg carburetor, the fingerprint of man on alleged CAGW:
Is there any chance of mankind actually finding any of these chimeras?
I know which finger can be given to global warming.
