Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates is appearing at a breakfast in Seattle Tuesday to talk about climate change and clean energy, and how they relate to addressing hunger, disease and poverty.The Northwest-based nonprofit Climate Solutions is hosting the sold-out breakfast.
Gates will chat with Jabe Blumenthal, who once worked at Microsoft and is co-chairman of Climate Solutions’ board.

Are they going to tell the truth that trying to address climate change through clean energy will increase hunger, disease and poverty?

Best to get ’em when they’re young and malleable, and controlled by environmentalist teachers. Microsoft is funding TakingItGlobal and its offshoot deforestACTION, “a global action project, involving millions of young people around the world, saving the world’s forests.”

If you have teenaged children, wouldn’t you hope that their school-work included recruiting fellow students to work for a Canadian group, fighting for world-wide social action, which sells activist lesson plans to lazy teachers?
It’s so nice for rich people to fly in private jets to be at environmental conferences.
