The Tornado Disinformation Machine Ramps Up!

The ongoing and desperate effort to blame weather on global warming gets increasingly pathetic every day.

The deadliest year for tornadoes in the U.S. was 1925, when 794 people were killed, according to the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration. Yesterday’s Joplin twister is tied with a 1953 Flint, Michigan, tornado as the single deadliest in records going back to 1950.

The 1925 Tri-State Tornado killed at least 695 people. Remarkably, people actually kept records prior to 1950.

Sea surface temperatures in the Gulf are now 3 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than the pre-1970 average, said Kevin Trenberth, distinguished senior scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado.

Good call Kevin. Unisys shows Gulf SSTs well below normal. 2C below normal in Louisiana. The US is surrounded by unusually cold water.

What does the pre-1970 average consist of? That is not very exact. Probably something cherry picked.

The ghouls in the alarmist movement have more graves to dance on.

“This was the worst tornado I have ever seen,” said 16 year old Climate Alliance activist Ernest Dupe.

The following NYTimes article has a great graph that shows no trend increase in tornados:

  5. Charles Higley says:

“Kevin Trenberth, distinguished senior scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado”

Why does this seem like another lie or fabrication?

If he is always wrong and making stuff up, how on Earth is he considered distinguished, senior, or a scientist? “Senior NCAR prevaricator, more like.”

  6. Puckster says:

The cold water temperatures off Louisiana makes sense…..a lot of cold spring melt fresh water spewing into the gulf from the Mississippi.

  7. Curt says:

The most likely cause for an unusually high number of deaths of baby dolphins this winter in the Gulf is hypothermia, from very low water temperatures from the Southern snow melt.

    • Sparks says:

I don’t think so! unless you are an expert on marine life, studying the death rates before and during “global warming” and post “global warming”. If you are then you’d understand that the “global warming scene was a f***ing Scam, and nothing to do with marine life whats-so-ever.

  9. Alcheson says:

If warming causes fewer tornadoes, then I’d say that since we a currently having MORE tornadoes recently that is another clear indication the earth is in a COOLING phase.

  10. Cleanwater says:

No one has yet produced any creditable experimental data that proves that the “greenhouse gas effect” exists. All this bull crap about Mann-made global warming is pond scum.

    • Sparks says:

It’s the “Green House effect” you-know!! where Co2 is put into a “green house” so much so that the “green house” absorbs more of the effect until it explodes!! or something! (I don’t know I’m not that scientifically advanced) but you never know, maybe they meant “adsorbs” and not “absorbs” who knows what they mean by a “green house” by definition, and who knows what the definition of the so called “Green House effect” is!?
